Churchill Fellowship applications for 2024 are now closed, and reopen 1 March 2025.
A Churchill Fellowship offers Australian citizens and permanent residents a life-changing opportunity to travel overseas for four to eight weeks to learn more about a topic or issue that they are passionate about.
You don’t need an academic qualification to apply, in fact you don’t need to have finished school. You can do a Churchill Fellowship on any topic, provided there is a benefit to Australia and your community by you sharing your knowledge or skills.
We are so excited that you’re here and thinking about applying for a Churchill Fellowship. There are no limits to your topic, no qualifications needed, and you just have to be 18+ and an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply. Before you hit ‘apply’, you may like to take a look through these handy links to find out more about the Churchill Fellowship.
If applying online presents difficulties for you, please contact us to discuss your situation as support or reasonable adjustment can be provided. Using a different method to apply can only be considered in exceptional circumstances. Read our commitment to accessible and inclusive practices.
